Breaking down the microbiology world one bite at a time

I am a fifth year PhD Candidate in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. I began my academic journey studying the human pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa. I now work with the baker’s yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae to study protein degradation. On top of all that, I am also a Medical writer. Outside of the lab, and when I can get away from the computer, I like to go birding and taking lots of pictures of wildlife, and nature in general.
