I am a Belgian postdoctoral researcher currently developing an innovative test that can swiftly and easily detect infections with the bacteria Mycobacterium leprae and Mycobacterium lepromatosis, which are responsible for Hansen’s disease or leprosy.

What I love about MicroBites is that it brings excellent science to a broader audience, which can inform, inspire, and lead to new ideas. By sharing the research on an accessible level, we create an even bigger impact from the research that is already done!
