Breaking down the microbiology world one bite at a time

Elora Kalita

Writer

I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Ostrava, Czech Republic, specializing in biochemistry and molecular parasitology. My research focuses on understanding the role of certain enzymes, which are critical for the survival of human parasites – Trypanosoma. I am passionate about writing and believe in the power of scientific communication to make a positive impact on the world, hence doing my part through Microbites. But if I am not in the lab, you will most probably find me with a rom-com book in my hands.
