Breaking down the microbiology world one bite at a time

Writer

I am a molecular biologist/biotechnologist from Spain, with a PhD by Uppsala University in Sweden. I have worked on C. elegans and transgenerational RNAi inheritance, drug resistance in eukaryotes, and diagnostics for antimicrobial resistance using DNA detection. During my PhD I realized I love writing and communicating science, as well as making scientific illustrations and posters. I find science in general fascinating, and especially research that gives us insight into how organisms work at a molecular level.

In my free time I love being outdoors, reading science fiction and cooking.
