Breaking down the microbiology world one bite at a time

Caitlin Clark

Writer

I received my MSc in Biomedical Sciences Research from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and I am currently working as a high school science teacher. Since taking my first microbiology course, I’ve wanted to understand as much about microorganisms and their interactions with the immune system as possible. I am always fascinated by how these organisms are designed and how they evolve in their given environments. As a writer at MicroBites, I’m eager to share this passion with others, just like I do with my students.

Outside of science, I tend to fill up my time with as many hobbies as I can. I enjoy running a D&D campaign with my friends, playing and streaming video games, reading (even if the pile of books is neverending), writing fiction, and learning how to draw.
