Breaking down the microbiology world one bite at a time

Victor Cardoso-Jaime

Writer, Translator (Spanish)

I am from Mexico and am currently a Postdoc at Johns Hopkins University, USA. My
research focuses on studying vector-borne diseases, specifically the interaction between
mosquitoes and human pathogens such as the human malaria parasite Plasmodium
falciparum and dengue virus. I love working at the bench lab, teaching, mentoring, and
communicating science. Science is a human right, and through science communication,
scientific information is more accessible to everyone worldwide.
