Breaking down the microbiology world one bite at a time

Thi Anh Mai Pham, MSc

Writer – Translator

I am German-Vietnamese and graduated in biochemistry from the Technical University of Munich. My Master’s thesis explored the synergy or interference effects between phages and antibiotics in Acinetobacter baumannii. From there my interest in understanding mechanisms and consequences of antimicrobial resistance, pathogen interactions, and infectious diseases was further nourished. When not thinking about microbes, I’m practicing piano, yoga, and meditation..
