Breaking down the microbiology world one bite at a time

I am currently finishing my PhD at University of Gdańsk (Poland) and making my way into life science marketing. My research concerned a plant-associated strain of Pseudomonas and its antagonistic properties. I have always felt the calling for science communication, from organising science festivals to writing about microbiology on Instagram (@m.arta.za). I love translating complex problems to simple terms, teaching undergrads has always been my preferred academic activity. In the wild, you’ll find me sipping coffee and knitting while listening to a good podcast, or chatting to several people at a time while learning graphic design or languages.
