Breaking down the microbiology world one bite at a time

Writer

I am a post-doctoral fellow investigating the mechanisms behind long term consequences of viral infections. The overarching goal of my research is to identify potential therapeutic targets to help diminish disease severity. I find every scientific topic incredibly interesting and want to help make complex topics approachable to a wide audience, hence why I joined the MicroBites team! Outside of the bench, I love traveling, hiking, camping, and running with my husband and dogs.
