I received my Master’s in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. There, I studied enteric pathogens and how they interact with our immune system. I am fascinated by our relationship with both harmful pathogens and friendly commensals, and how the latter plays an essential role in the health and survival of our species and planet. I am now working towards becoming a full time science communicator and STEM educator for audiences of all ages.
