As a PhD student at the KU Leuven (Belgium), I play with the DNA of bacteria in order to find new superbug murder weapons, also known as antibiotics. Nature has incredible potential, you know! If I’m not in the lab, you can find me on the volleyball court or in the kitchen.

Als PhD studente aan de KU Leuven (België), speel ik met het DNA van bacteriën om op zoek te gaan naar nieuwe superbug moordwapens, ook wel antibiotica genoemd. De natuur heeft ongelooflijk veel potentieel, weet je! Als ik niet in het labo ben, vind je me vaak op een volleybalveld of in de keuken.
